In 2007, the core members behind the ‘Stompin’ In Belgium’ concerts, known for their Psychobilly and Rockabilly club gigs since the early 1990’s, came up with the idea of organizing a big festival, focused on only classic Psychobilly and Neo-Rockabilly acts from the old Klubfoot days. In co-operation with the representatives at the Trix-venue, they were able to settle their first “Old-School Rockabilly Psychosis Night”. There was certainly no intention of making big profits. It was just because of their passion for the music, they wanted to bring major acts to Belgium for the local devotees. Eventually the festival also attracked boppin' rockin' fans from all over Europe. After five steamy festivals, the promotors were running out of ideas, and decided to get rid of the strictly “Old-School” theme in 2012. So, from now on, the event became a modern mixed up show of as well new bands, as some classic legends in Psycho and Rockabilly music.
